“An Exhibit of Works by Lyme Artists” is a highlight of the fall season for many in this part of Connecticut.  This annual sale features the work of 8 talented local artists:  Steven Evankow, stone birdbaths; Angie Falstrom, miniature watercolors; Don Gerber, woodturning; Elin Larson, handweaving; Ann Lightfoot, jewelry; Diana Lord, pressed botanicals; Lori Warner, monoprints; Tina West, handknitting.  Note cards, calendars, and giclee prints will also be for sale.

      On Saturday, John will be there giving letterpress demonstrations during the day, so this is a good opportunity to learn a little about the process and ask any questions you may have about the art of letterpress.

      Please join us for the opening reception on Friday night, November 5th, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.   Saturday hours are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, so come have coffee or cider, cookies and pumpkin bread with us and shop some more!  

      The Lyme Public Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road (Rte. 156), diagonally across the street from H. L. Reynolds’ general store and just north of Tiffany Farms and the Lyme Fire Station.  Email us for more information!
