1877 J Cook Cat. (Pearl No. 3)

Note the feed and delivery board mounting!  To my knowledge there are no known examples where the feed board is attached to the press base in this way.  It is mounted using the tapered recess where the ink plate on later model years is located.  Although also rare, the delivery board system of mounting below the platen can be seen on several presses in Golding collections including my own.
